“Everyone knew exactly what to do and when to do it.”
Keep the pews you have
Most churches that call us are weighing the same choice: replace the pews, or save them. New pews are often made of composition and veneer. Your old ones are solid wood. Padding them adds new life to pews that were built to last, at a fraction of the cost.
We know many congregations run on a shoestring budget. We keep our costs down so your quote is a pleasant surprise, and if you find a better price on a true apples-to-apples job, we'll match it.
Not sure whether gray goes with pink? Our consultants will help you and your staff choose colors and fabrics so the sanctuary looks warm and inviting.
What we upholster

We strip the worn fabric and tired foam, then re-pad and re-cover the pews you already own. Your members get a pew that feels and looks brand new, and the church keeps its solid wood.

Bare wood pews can be upholstered for the first time, seat and back. It makes services quieter, keeps people warm in winter and stops that summer sticking.

Pads are made to fit your pews exactly and permanently fixed in place, so they never slide, bunch or go missing.

We re-upholster pulpit chairs and choir chairs to match the pews, so the whole front of the sanctuary looks like it belongs together.

Worn or cracked kneelers are replaced with new padded covers that are easier on the knees and match your new seating.

From the churches we've served
From the comments I've heard from the membership and from others who have seen the finished product, we are probably more satisfied than if we had bought new ones. My brother-in-law inspected the finished job and was amazed at the quality of the work and the minimal cost compared to new pews.
Questions churches ask
It adds new life to older pews, so the church can keep its solid wood pews instead of buying expensive new ones made of composition and veneer. It also beautifies the sanctuary and gives it a warmer, friendlier feel.
Yes. Padding cuts down on complaints of back problems and arthritis from hard pews. Young or old, everyone appreciates a comfortable seat, and for elderly members it can be the difference between coming to church regularly and staying home.
It makes services quieter by muffling song books and small children's shoes on the wood. It's warmer in winter, so no one has to "warm the board" or sit on a coat, and it stops people sticking to the pews in humid months.
